Aquaculture Wholesale Market Report

Week Ending October 16, 1996

HIGHLIGHTS

Only the Mid-west markets reported for October. We are trying to increase the participation and reported information in this report. No oysters, mussels or golden trout were reported. New reported items were crappie, coho salmon, common carp, Florida perch (tilapia) and northern pike. Sunfish reappeared.

In general, prices were unchanged. However, a wider variety of species and forms were reported.

In cooperation with individuals from the North-Central Regional Aquaculture center and Purdue University, we are trying to increase the participation and improve the report's contents. Again, thank you for your patience.

These prices are for small volumes.
