Vegetarians Eat Meat, Fish

According to a survey conducted by London University in the Southeast of England, and released at the British Association for the Advancement of Science's conference, two thirds of professed vegetarians eat meat.

The survey's findings are that many vegetarians regard meat and fish as part of the diet, and that many view chicken as an honorary vegetable. The survey's author concluded that strict barriers did not exist and that vegetarianism was not vigorously defined for most vegetarians, but was a fluid category embracing a wide range of foods.

Interestingly, the meat product that British vegetarians find the hardest to resist is the bacon sandwich.
