EPA Announces Rotenone Reregistration Eligibility Decision



EPA’s Reregistration Eligibility Decision (RED) for the pesticide rotenone and open public comment period was announced May 23, 2007. The Agency’s risk assessments and other related documents are available in the rotenone docket. Rotenone is a restricted use pesticide applied directly to water – primarily by Federal and state agencies – to eliminate invasive or unwanted fish species. Comments are due before July 23, 2007.
