1st Call for Papers: Aquaculture Indigenous Lands AQUACULTURE AMERICA 2002 January 27-30, 2002 Town & Country Hotel, San Diego, California Program: The U.S. national annual conference and exposition of the U.S. Chapter of the World Aquaculture Society, the National Aquaculture Association, and the U.S. Aquaculture Suppliers Association. Session: Aquaculture on Indigenous Lands Abstract: Across the Americas, aquaculture y and on the lands of indigenous (native) people is increasing in importance. The goal of this session is to present the results of these efforts. Presentations are encouraged on finfish culture, crustacean culture, shellfish culture, environmental restoration, endangered/native species recovery, economics, aquaculture/agriculture integration, fisheries enhancement, aquaculture education, intergovernmental relations and policy/regulations.
