SBGA Accepting Entries for Landry Award

The Striped Bass Growers Association (SBGA) is accepting entries for the Walter Landry Memorial Award to be awarded to a student for outstanding achievements in research on any of the species in the Morone genus and/or Morone hybrids. The award and a travel assistance of $250 will be presented at the SBGA Annual Meeting which is being held in conjunction with Aquaculture America 2000 in New Orleans, LA. The student'sresearch accomplishments will be highlighted in the SBGA newsletter, "The Striper."

Entries should be submitted no later than November 15, 1999 to:

Applicants should identify their academic affiliation and provide a summary (maximum of 4 pages) detailing their research accomplishments.
