Federal Register Publishes USDA-CSREES RFPs Higher Education Multicultural Scholars Program - FY 1998-99 The solicitation, guidelines, and required forms for the Multicultural Scholars Program can be accessed via the CSREES web site (www.reeusda.gov) under Higher Education Programs. Proposals must be received by close of business on March 16, 1999. A copy of the solicitation will be posted soon on the HEP home page (http://www.reeusda.gov) under Higher Education Programs. Paper copies of the FY 1999 Solicitation and the Capacity Building Grants Program Application Kit have not yet been printed and may not be available until mid-January. The USDA CSREES National Research Initiative Competitive Grants Program (NRI) A Supplemental NRI Program Description has been released and is now available on the NRI home page at www.reeusda.gov/nri. This supplement describes a new Epidemiological Approaches to Food Safety Program, an amendment to the Animal Genome and Genetic Mechanisms Program. Paper copies of this document, the original Program Description, and the Application Kit can be obtained by sending your name and postal address and list of documents desired to psb@reeusda.gov.
