Description:
Aqua Green, LLC is seeking motivated and conscientious employees for its research and production facilities in coastal Mississippi. We are currently seeking a qualified individual (M.S. degree preferred) with experience in all aspects of marine finfish hatchery operations. Educational background and a record of conducting research on relevant topics may substitute for some experience. Candidates are expected to have expertise in marine finfish broodstock management and reproduction, culture of live feeds, larval production, and juvenile rearing. Experience in operation and management of recirculating aquaculture systems is desirable. Responsibilities include daily management of a 25,000 sq. ft. marine hatchery and research center, supervision of associated personnel, and maintenance of research and production databases. The incumbent must be able to think creatively and strategically, participate in research activities as well as business development, maintain a flexible and adaptable working style, and display superb professional judgment and discretion.
